One of the most prominent of homes located on Belcaro real estate is the Phipps Mansion. This historic mansion was built by Colorado Senator Lawrence C. Phipps. Phipps was also a treasurer for Carnegie Steel. Phipps hired Fisher and Fisher, along with New York architect Charles Platt to build this red brick Georgian mansion with 54 rooms and every amenity available at the time. The Phipps mansion totals more than 27,000 square feet. Today, the Phipps mansion is owned by the University of Denver.
Belcaro real estate is conveniently located. The Cherry Creek shopping area is not too far, with its major retailers and fashionable boutiques.
